A couple of weeks back my brother in-law made Tahini balls and ever since I’ve been completely obsessed! I’ve since made them every week and they make for the perfect healthy afternoon treat when the sugar cravings set in. Super easy to make and packed full of goodness, you can eat as many as you like without feeling guilty. So this week I thought I’d share with you this amazing recipe.
Tahini Balls are high in calcium plus they are also gluten and dairy free.
- ½ cup light tahini (hulled)
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
- ½ cup LSA (a combination of linseed (flaxseed) sunflower seed and almond which is made into a ground meal)
- 1 cup dried apricot pieces (or fruit mixture of your choice)
- ½ cup chopped almonds
- ½ cup of Goji berries
Mix all ingredients together to make a stiff mixture. Use more coconut if necessary. Mix into small balls and coat with coconut or LSA. Refrigerate once complete.
